Accordion Solitaire
If you have a lot of time and a deck of cards (or, say, your computer), Accordion Solitaire is one of the most challenging, frustrating and arguably, most rewarding, of all the Solitaire variations. As you learn how to play Accordion Solitaire, you’ll find that the standard rules can make the game painfully difficult, and you can adjust these rules inside the option screen to give yourself a fighting chance.
All Accordion Solitaire players aim for one thing: to compress the spread-out deck so that “one card rules them all”. Just like nearly every type of Solitaire, this object is accomplished by clicking and moving cards that are within the same suit or rank within the selected number of cards to its right or left.
The options let you make the game easier by allowing more card movement; the default settings limit your movement options from either immediately adjacent or the card three positions to the left or right.
Can’t see all the cards in this Accordion Solitaire game? Make sure to adjust your screen size in the options menu so that you can see all the cards you have to work with. See all the option settings on our help page.
