There’s a new dog in town. Affiliate Guard Dog is now up and running with a main purpose of tracking the Terms and Conditions of affiliate programs. Affiliate Guard Dog’s goal is “to aid affiliates in tracking the Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) at the time of signup and throughout the lifetime of the Affiliate Program. We are starting in the Casino industry which has seen a lot of retroactive T&C changes in the recent months.”

“In addition, Affiliate Guard Dog will monitor all Casino Affiliate Program’s (CAP) T&C’s for conditions which are considered predatory. All such conditions will be highlighted and described as to why they may be ‘taking advantage of’ the affiliate. There are many casino programs using such predatory terms in order to either not pay the affiliate for hard work done or to force that affiliate to place banners in specific locations.”

Affiliate Guard Dog provides tracking and reporting on changes in affiliate terms and conditions with email notification and rss feed. A forum is available to monitor programs currently being analyzed, suggest future programs for consideration and discussion on any program changes, possible repercussions and future direction.
