    A recent article in the NY times shared how some in the hotel industry are looking to protect themselves from negative reviews on sites like Trip Advisor. Some hoteliers want Trip Advisor to censor the customer-fed reviews that are malicious in nature and those reviews that accuse the hotel’s staff of legal issues, like discrimination and theft.

    Dominique from Gamesandcasino.com has joined many other voices in declaring the Bewinners affiliate program rogue. She says: “I don’t rogue any place easily, but this really takes the cake. There are three situations built into the affiliate contract that allow the program to simply seize all earned monies from the affiliate and effectively stop payments, or, in the mildest case, reduce the percentage to 5 percent. I am sorry, but to me that is outright theft.

Grand Prive is the casino operation that closed down it’s operations and left their affiliates out high and dry, with no compensation for their player bases.     EU and Cookies

    This is something new they are coming up with to mess things up again. I wish they could get someone that knows what they are doing with this kind of stuff. Earlier this year, Patricia wrote about an EU plan to require that internet users consent to cookies before they’re placed on their computers. At the time, I called the plan “absurd”. Which must be precisely why the Council of the EU has approved a directive amending legislation to do just that.

    Some of you may remember this event in the past as CAP Euro, but since the CAP meltdown not long ago, this event was taken over and re-branded. iGaming Business is now in charge of this event, and it seems as if they’re doing a spectacular job of getting both affiliates and exhibitors in the door.
