Cell phones at games - Bingo Forum

Does it bother you to have someone get a phone call during a bingo game? I know the ringing isn't so distracting as the person chit chatting for 30 minutes straight. Come one people turn them off for a little bit.

I always took mine to bingo with me incase DH called, never know when one of the kids is going to decide to dive off the top bunk, or suddenly have the flu

I always shut the ringer off and left it on vibrate though. The talking didn't bother me, I mean you're going to chit chat with someone regardless of on the phone or the person next to you ... the loud ringing echoing through the firehall tends to be a bit annoying -lol- especially when they have really bad ring tones!

I always found ringing cell phones to be rather annoying, i do bring mine along though.. I keep it on vibrate, and set it on the table. . as soon as it vibrates, i silence the ring, then when i have the chance, I get up from the table and return the call

lord lord these are annoying. Do people think they are going to
stop paying attention to the game and start talking?

On vibrate is fine, but step away from the table if it's a prolonged or loud convo, please.

In the past Years we all never knew about Cell Phones now everywhere we go we see them.
it s.... s If you can't leave your home for a day without it You need help let the answering machine pick it up and when you come home you get it. And I have one too ( A Cell Phone)
I hate people that use it for the talk of the gab.
They should only be in used for
Emergencies---- This is a lot of things can't type them all lol
Your late to be some place
Your kids needs a ride home
To call a Doctor
This is afew of them I say the people that have them to remember Just have respect for others We all don't need to hear your crap.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is rude! I take mine too, but I keep it on vibrate. You never know if there is an emergency. Yes, get up and return the call elsewhere!

Boy this cell phone thing, really has me heated up! Maybe I'm going through winning withdrawls!! LOL

I used to use my cell in case of emergencies.. now.. I rarely touch the phone in the house, my cell is always in my pocket, its always for me, never the kids.. the minutes are cheap.. I never go over.. It has a camera! I can upload pix.. from the phone! I love my cell phone.. but manners, are still important

The bingo hall is just one of the many places I see ppl using their very rudely, ever see someone walk up to place an order .. anywhere.. coffee shop, McD's etc. and actually ask the cashier to wait.. u just wanna step up and ask them to kindly move to the back of the line.. or the guy that almost rams into you, after running a light.. talking on the phone?

Many single people opt now to only own a cell phone, they really have no need for a 'home phone' and thats fine by me.. but didnt anyone learn manners? And it urks me when ppl think the lady that makes their coffee.. for very little pay.. standing for 8 hours.. is invisible :P~ (no ive never done it.. but ppl are ppl... get off the phone!)

ROFLMAO ~ I'll agree on the gabbity convo's that usually have way too much info for the general public. Don't stand in line at Barnes & Noble and chit chat with your girlfriend about your date Saturday night so loudly that we can all hear about the dorky guy grabbed your a$$ on the way out the door......

I've heard a few crazy calls and had to cover my kids ears a few times!
