Default Scammed by bingo site?

Has anyone been scammed by a bingo site? I've never played online Bingo before and I'd like to make sure I don't get ripped off.

If you are going to consider taking a bonus, you need to read the Terms and Conditions very carefully.

Bonuses put all kinds of restrictions on when you can withdraw winnings.

Myself, I stay away from them and instead try to win some of the really neat prizes that are available here and there.

In the casino world, more than 90% of complaints have to do with bonuses.

Bingos don't have that many complaints, although there are some, and there are some Halls that I will not allow here. I screen them quite carefully, and it's up to you to make sure your don't step in it when you take a bonus.

One Bingo I am excluding for example is BingoBilly.

They are owned by Sportingbet, which has cheated many affiliates and webmasters out of their wages. They have shown total disregard for written contracts.

They may be so big that they think they are god and can get away with anything - but not on my watch.

The other issue that crops up many places is that of house players.

There are ups and downs to that issue, and I'm sure it will end up being discussed here as we go.

Snowbird, As Dom says, If you use any of the links she has here it is a better start than I had back in the day when bingo was first coming out online.

I must have tried out almost all the bingos out there, and there can be some "shady" places. Stay away from thevirtualbingo, bingoknights just to name a couple.

If you want to try out some go to the "bingo bonus links" at the top of this page, and pick one, or 2 or 3. I like to skip around, one week one may hit for me....next week another. I wish I had this board when I started playing!!

Thanks Dom for the work of weeding the bad guys out!

Snowbird....give it a try...it's great fun, I like playing bingo online on Sunday's when I am doing my laundry LOL.

Thanks for the info. on bingo sites, although I did play at bingoknights (i didn't win), I won't go back to that sight after reading your suggestions. bingobilly is always sending me e-mails, now that i read your post, i won't go to that site either! I agree about the bonuses too, although they do make them sound great, I know most have confusing terms and cond. i usually just play them to have fun.

Nothing wrong with playing bonuses unless they have ridiculous terms.

I hate when I win and can't withdraw.

But a lot of bonuses and promos are really playable.

I like the free cards - Geisha Bingo has those.

I love bonuses, they make me feel rich!

But the terms are often hard to understand.

Really! Slots always take all my cash, unless I get lucky! I start spinning and I don't want to stop.

Okay I hate to come in this site as brand new and already begin by putting in my 2 cents but I must.

First, For anyone who is looking to get into online bingo... Dont take the advice of a CM ie: Sodapop for example! Please know I am not saying anything derogitory against you Soda or Ladies! I really feel that if players want to find out true opinions on sites they need to get it from other players not CH/CL and CM's of sites!

I am in the industry myself! I work 40 plus hours a week taking care of my players and playing games just like so many others! But you will never never never see me advocating my site or trying to push it on to anyone! I just feel its unfair to the players overall. I have had people ask me in private where I work and I still wont reveal it. I want my site to stand on its own 2 feet!

Soda, I know Ladies and I have played there, so please know this has nothing to do with you, I really just want new players to get a feel for sites from other players not those of us who work in the industry!

Welcome, someonesomewhere,

I have enjoyed your posts at WOL.

Actually, the info in Soda's post belongs in the Ladies Bingo forum. It is most welcome there, that is what that particular forum is for.

Cms are also welcome to join in conversations to just chat or be helpful, but not to push their Bingo Halls.

This message board is still brand new and most of the CMs won't even show up until next week sometime.

We will take care of all the hiccups once everyone is settled in and things are more clear to everyone.

Should you decide you do want to talk about your Bingo, you can PM me and if I approve I will assign you a forum, too.

Meanwhile, let's take it easy, things will come together soon enough.
