Default Take a friend.

Take a friend to bingo with you they will thank you for it. I hate to go to the bingo hall alone. I know you have to listen but it is good to have someone else to talk to. Besides its always good to have an extra set of eyes.

If you know any elderly in your neighborhood check and see if they would be interested in attending. There are many elderly people who are stuck in their homes and don't have anyone to associate with. They would love the opportunity to get out.

Preteens are up to it on occasion. They need to know that they can't collect the money because they are minors. It doesn't matter though because you can and then you can give it to them as a gift. It is good for them to spend some time out among their peers. I mean the adult ones so they can learn some socialization skills.

You just may give them the chance to do something that is fun and keep them out of trouble at the same time. Our children need us to show them that there are things that they can do that aren't going to get them into serious trouble. We are after all their guiding lights.

The elderly need to stay active. They also need to feel wanted and appreciated. You can do this by sharing a ride to bingo with them. You could start a seniors night at your local church. The church could provide transportation for the seniors who wish to attend.

I love bingo and I love kids and seniors. We all have much to give each other if we only allow time.

This is a great idea as to many elderly are often forgotten about. Many spend their days sitting at home never really getting the chance to get out to have a little fun. I love spending time with those who have tasted life and are willing to share their experiences with me. I have always loved to hear the stories they tell. My Mother often has told me I should get into a line of work where I would be around the elderly because of intrest I have shown in hearing how they have lived and have learned. I also often regret not taking her up on that advice.
We should all learn to appreciate those who have knowledge and not take them for granted. Spending time with them playing bingo or doing anything for that matter is a perfect way to spend a day, and I am sure that they also will enjoy your company as well.

My daughter and I go to bingo when we can and on occassion, we have stopped to pick up a woman that has no other way to get to bingo, and who enjoys it so much.

It only takes a few minutes to do a kindness for a person who otherwise wouldnt be able to get to a bingo game anywhere.

You are right about the knowledge that the older ones have to share, and it is a great way to spend a day, or an evening.
