Tourneys

Is there such a thing as Bingo tournaments? If so, have any of you been in one? How long did you play? How much did you win? Was it online or off? I hope this isn't a real stupid question.

I know that there are bingo tourneys, a site that I play at fairly often has them. I haven't ever played in one though.. So I dunno how they work :/ I do know that the players check for themselves on a list of qualified players.
