Thank you so much BSCLAY and the best to you also. It hasn't been easy and I just don't understand why. Once I do find a new home, I will have to let everyone know about some of the incredibly unbelievable incidents I have run into in my search for a spot.

These are a few things I ran across in my recent search for a hosting position:

1: Actually had one conduct an interview via email. She would send me a question, I'd send the answer. This went back and forth for some time when all of a sudden, right in the middle of the "interview", she just stopped. Never bothered to get back to me. Now I sit wondering if maybe my last answer did not reach her. So after a few hours I send her a message saying "Did you not receive my last answer?" I get this reply "LOL, yes I got it but very busy today." Needless to say, I never did hear from her again!

2: Had one email me this one "We're not interested"! That was only after receiving my resume. There was no interview involved. Kind of harsh I thought. Someone needs to write up a "POLITE" we're not looking for anyone at the present time.

3: Another one emails me "How much do you expect to be paid?" I replyed and of course never heard back. There was no interview done here either. I was sorry I didn't write back and instead of saying what I expected, just say, "Why? What are you offering?"

4: Then there was the application! Ahhhh the application! This huge application took me a good hour to fill out. About the only thing it didn't ask was how many times I use the bathroom a day. Took the time, filled it out and they never had the decency to send even a rejection letter!

5: There was one positon I wanted badly. This time I was strung along for over 2 weeks. I interviewed, even auditioned a few times in chat. Was told I did great and I was in the top spot for the job. Needless to say, never heard either way!

6: We don't hire experienced hosts was another one I got a few times. My personal opinion on this one is it's because they only want to pay peanuts or they pay bbs.

7: I also had one request my references. I sent her the info which included 3 contacts. Never heard back and I know they would have given me a great reference.

The reason I wrote this post is twofold. First of all it's for those of you pounding the online bingo pavement, don't give up or be discouraged by some of the rude chat and site managers out there. Your turn will come, as mine did, and you'll find what your looking for. There are some very nice and respectful managers out there also. Second, to the chat and site managers out there, it takes just as much time to be kind as it does to be rude. Remember, we are people too!
