Vegas Strip Blackjack

Vegas Strip Blackjack is your basic garden variety Blackjack with a few alterations. The clue to these versions of Blackjack is in the number of decks used, what the Dealer has to hold on and the payout for Blackjack.  Make sure to check the rules before playing.  Vegas Strip Blackjack uses these rules:

Vegas Strip Blackjack

  • 4 decks of cards are used.
  • Dealer's hand has one card face up, one card down (hole card)
  • Dealer stands on 17 (hard and soft)
  • Player's Blackjack pays 3:2
  • You can double down on any 2 cards
  • You can double down after splits
  • Split 3 times
  • You can only split aces once
  • Only one card dealt to split Aces
  • A split Ace with 10 point card is considered a 21, not Blackjack
  • You can split 10 point cards even though they aren't alike (ex:  K, Q)

Insurance is available with a payout of  2:1 but isn't a recommended action.  I've been shy of playing Blackjack but this is not a complex game and easy to understand.
