    Step one passed with flying colors.  House Committee on Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank’s bill H.R. 2267 the Internet Gambling Regulation and Consumer Protection and Enforcement Act took a step today in trying to regulate online gambling in the United States.     North American Online Gamblers Still Waiting for PlayNow.com

    After the crash of the first North American online gambling site, PlayNow.com and the final admission of the B.C. Lottery Corporation that it had a privacy breach where over 130 players had their private information seen by other players, the government today said they have no idea when the site will reopen for business.
