    Class Action Lawsuit Comes Against FanDuel

    The two biggest names in daily fantasy sports in the United States are FanDuel and DraftKings. DraftKings has a deal with the National Football League, and FanDuel does not, and that might have something to do with the class action lawsuit that the latter is facing thanks to player Pierre Garcon of Washington. This lawsuit is the fourth against a daily fantasy sports provider inside of the past 30 days.

    New Jersey Could See PokerStars Sooner Rather Than Later

    Black Friday was an event on April 15, 2011 that put players in a position with a lot fewer options for enjoying online poker.     Revenues Were Expected to Fall About 28.4 Percent in Macau

    A total of 17 months of negative growth is what Macau has been seeing now that the Chinese have been cracking down on public officials getting in on the action. It was predicted that a decline somewhere between 26 and 29 percent would happen in October, and that's exactly what happened with a 28.4 percent drop. Total revenue came at about 20.06 billion patacas, and this is compared to the 28.03 billion that was seen in October of last year. This year's revenues were worth about $2.

    PokerStars VIP Structure Changes Hurt High Stakes Players

    Since the Amaya Gaming Group acquired PokerStars back in the middle of 2014, changes like the ones they recently announced have gotten them in a lot of hot water with players. It started off with players reacting negatively towards announcements that PokerStars would offer casino games and other forms of gambling in 2015, and they rallied against this thinking that it would pull recreational players away from the tables.

    Polls Show DFS Challenging Casino and Lottery Play

    The Leger research group did a poll of over 1,000 daily fantasy sports players in the United States. This poll showed a number of interesting things, but the most important finding was that their money spent on these games definitely lowers the amount of money they spend on lotteries and in casinos. A total of more than 60 percent of those players said that this is the case, and this could make casinos and lottery companies rethink how they approach DFS.

    An American professional online poker player by the name of Byron Kaverman has taken top honors in the EPT Malta High Roller Event. This event had a buy-in of €10,300, and there were a total of 210 players for a prize pool of over €2 million. Kaverman was able to take down €430,800 for first place in this event. Multiple High Roller Places Kaverman is no stranger to these top-tier places.
