Red Dog Poker Strategy and Rules
Red Dog Poker Strategy:
You can raise your bet during any hand except Pairs and Consecutives. Raise your bet on any spread of 7 or more.
Red Dog Poker Rules:
Red Dog is played against the dealer usually using 6 decks of 52 cards each. There are no wild cards in this game.
You are dealt two cards. Aces are always ranked high. If these cards are the same (pair) or consecutive, the game is a push, the ante is returned and the game is over. If the two cards have at least a one card spread, a third card is dealt. You are betting the value of the third card will fall between the value of the first two.
Pay rate for Red Dog Poker:
- Pairs - Push
- Consecutives - Push
- 4 - 11 spread - even money
- 3 card spread - 2:1
- 2 card spread - 4:1
- 1 card spread - 5:1
- Three of a Kind - 11:1
