To play Craps you need a basic understanding of the game, the bets and the odds. The first roll is called the Come Out roll.
If you're the Shooter, you have to place a Pass Line or Don't Pass Line bet on the Come Out roll. After that, you can place other bets on the table. If you aren't the shooter, you can place bets any time.
Pass Line bet - Place bet on Pass Line and throw the Come Out roll. If you roll a 7 or 11 on the Come Out roll you win. If you roll a 2, 3 or 12 you lose. If you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 that establishes the Point for that game.
Don't Pass Line bet - Placing a bet on the Don't Pass Line has the opposite outcome of the Pass Line bet. If you roll a 1 or 3, you win.. If you roll a 7 or 11, you lose. If you roll a 12 you don't win or lose and bet is still on.
Place any combination bets after the Come Out roll. The game continues until you roll the point or a 7. If you roll a 7 you lose all bets. If you roll the Point you win 1:1. All other bets are not affected and you roll again. If you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 that establishes the Point for that game. You win your side bets when the dice rolls up the betting combination.
