Well, so far bodog has always been reputable, but these days there is of course no telling what will happen next. I am also not sure who is running Bovada, it appears it’s the same folks who ran Bodog.

I wouldn’t leave much money in any account personally…just play and withdraw.

Playing on full tilt left me feeling skeptic about all online poker sites; they still have funds that belong to me which I don’t expect to be returned. Please assure me that if I make a deposit that my funds will be able to be retrieved without the hassle that full tilt put everyone through. I would really like to play on-line again but want my funds easily withdrawn should I decide to make a withdrawal.

Glad to see at least one of these sites taking responsibility and doing the right thing. Looks like to me PoerStars was doing it right all along. Wish I could say the same thing for the U.S. government.

This should not really come as a surprise and for those in the U.S. that are still playing at Absolute Poker and UB. I wish you good luck in getting your money, but with a track record like these guys with huge cheating scandals that they first spent months trying to cover up on both sites, it is unlikely they care enough to pay U.S. players.

Wow, that’s just unbelieveable. And to think I use to play at UB poker and Absolute poker sites. It’s a darn shame that so many people have lost their jobs because of some money-hungry lobbiests. What happened to “the people” voting on the US laws? I guess that’s thrown out the window too.

Interesting to see where this goes. Last time American business lost when the U.S. went through the WTO. I would like to see it go this way this time as well, with a precedent already out there, I think some pressure could be put on the U.S. again.

Rep Barney Frank nails it again with his statement about the DOJ’s misconduct and behavior. When there’s money laundering, you go after the person or persons doing the crime, not the people or companies who were blindsided by it. This was just another way the DOJ thinks they can take money because of an illegally passed bill (the UIGEA bill).
