LANCASHIRE, U.K. (PRESS RELEASE) --The highest ever Bingo Gold jackpot was won this afternoon by Lancashire's Mark J, who's a massive £107,646.90 richer this week.

23/03: Will Democrats Be Crying Bingo?
Candidates are looking for ways to raise campaign funds, will it be BINGO?Rep. Mark Meadows introduced Legislation that would change charitable gaming rules that would allow political parties to use bingo to raise funds for candidates.
Mike Peterson, deputy of Lottery Commissioner, stated that under the current laws, parties can run bingo, but the proceeds go only for operational costs. Not to be used for a candidate or a position.
Meadows said and I Quote: "The primary reason political bingos were stopped is that Democrats used them successfully and they were not a Republican fundraising mechanism," Meadows said. "This was done for the wrong reasons, and it's time to reverse this."
Rep. Aldo Vagnozzi said and laughed: "You know bingo players, they're determined, so any outlet that lets them play bingo is going to be big."
Rep. Mike Lindberg, not so sure said: "In areas like mine where there are a lot of casinos, bingo games aren't very big sellers anymore," he said. "But in some areas, it will be a good way for political parties to raise money without going out and asking for direct donations."
This Legislation is in the House Regulatory Reform Committee.
It will be very interesting to see how this unfolds.

Here is some interesting news on bingo happenings. We all are waiting to see what will happen with this. How it will affect online bingo is yet to be seen.
The Sunday Times, of London, England, reports that Ladbrokes PLC, is attempting to buy Parlay Entertainment, an online bingo and games site.
I am familiar with Parlay Entertainment, and they have a lot of nice bingo sites on the net. Ladbrokes will be lucky to acquire these sites. What they will do with them is another question to be answered, as soon as we know. Stay tuned as further updates develop. You will see it here!!!

Who will your sweetheart be? You get to choose your loved one or best Bingo buddy as your "sweetheart", and double your chances of winning! If your sweetheart BINGO's, you get the same prize and vice versa. Wow, now that is nice!!

30/01: Who Will Win Parlay Takeover?

A Second un-named entity has offered a bid to buy out Parlay Entertainment Inc. This has put the value of the company at CAD$15.8 million (€10.6 million). This offer represents a 26% increase on the bid by PEIC Acquisition Corp, that was received on January 11th.
This latest proposal would make all outstanding common shares of the company would be bought at a price of between CAD$1.00 and $1.20, where as compared to the offer from PEIC of $0.95 per share.
On January 11th Parlay entered a letter of intent with PEIC, which prohibits them from soliciting or initiating any competing proposals, But that period of exclusivity expires today at 5:00pm Toronto time.
Parlay, it has not as yet responded to the ‘superior’ proposal nor negotiated any terms. They will be in a position to do so later this afternoon.
This is good News to the Parlay investors which was not pleased with the bid from PEIC.
Last traded yesterday at CAD$0.80, the shares Of Parlay Entertainment is up 13% on the day.
