APCW This Week

July 18th, 2008

Be sure to watch this week’s episode it has a lot of information for not only the players but the affiliates.

WARNING: Watch Dog says stay away from 888.com. They have changed their agreement and it is hurting the affiliates as well as the players. When asked to comment on this 888.com refused to answer any of the questions. My advice is stay away from there until this is settled.

Meanwhile the battle between Antigua and the US on the WTO has yet been delayed again!! Seems to me the US is dragging their butt’s on this one.

Canada, California and Washington State are fighting to regulate and legalize online gambling. Hey this is what we have been saying from the beginning!! Wake up States!!

This Week on Perspectives

March 21st, 2008

First of all Mr. John Dutchak, swears he does not own Poker Dream Network(Tusk Gaming Group), yet he is nowhere to be found and all of his co-workers, family and friends say he did. Who is right? Well my guess is all but Mr. John.

Microgaming is not at fault here! Poker Dream only used their software, So people please don’t look at Microgaming as being apart of all this BULL!  Microgaming and Rewards Affiliates have come to the rescue!! They will honor and manage the casinos left homeless, and they will honor all of the player’s cash on deposits!!  WTG Microgaming and Rewards Affiliates!! A BIG THUMBS UP GUYS!!!

Now last but not the least by no means Barney Frank will speak in Congress and discuss how to enforce the regulations passed on September 2006.  We are sure that Mr. Frank will remind all of Congress on how STUPID this law is.. Tell it like it is Mr. Frank!!! We will be behind you 100%.

 March 14th

Everyone is in turmoil, and upset. The American Congress wants to know why the US Trade Representative made a National Security deal with the EU over online gambling!!

And now the European Union wants to re-open their investigation into the UIGEA bill. This is due to the international trade violations. Could this lead to yet another WTO dispute? Will have to see!

Even though iMega lost their case last week, we are celebrating, because the Judge ruled we had a standing. Where is goes from here is yet to be seen.

On another note, we are wondering what in the heck is going on with Poker Dream. They claim they have been a victim of a massive credit card fraud scheme. They say this has just about destroyed the company. Now they are taking player’s money and the company itself is not saying a word. So beware players, till this is settled stay away from Poker Dreams!!

If you think the verdict this week on iMEGA versus the UIGEA bill was a loss, think again! Watch and learn what the Judge said about the UIGEA in relation to the legality of online gambling!! What was said about payment processors will surprise you!!

Meanwhile Party Gaming’s CEO announced he is resigning after only a year’s time.  Hey need a JOB??  This just may be your chance……..You never know!!

Several of our US Senators have written letters to STOP the UIGEA… Looks like more and more are coming to our side here!! This is a very good sign for online gambling. But there are some that is for the bill.. We will see what happens!!

On another note, Canada may try to ban online gambling like the US, but from all We hear I don’t think this will happen!!

Full Tilt Poker Policy

February 29th, 2008

All Affiliates of Full Tilt Poker needs to be careful!!! We have found out that they show how much they care by enforcing a 60 day policy. In other words if a player from your site clicks on Full Tilt Poker link, and that person or persons does not make a deposit for 60 days, then you, the affiliate, do not get credit for that player if he or she makes a deposit after the 60 days!!

Check out the audit that was done on their software and affiliate program!! It is very interesting and something to think about!!

This week we started the first series of audits and feature the Vegas Affiliates program. It has the Mini Vegas Group and the Vegas VIP Lounge.

Now this is really funny!!  We have been accused of the problem of allowing underage gambling!!  Well this week, not one, not two, but three very well known land based casinos were busted for allowing kids from 15 years old to gamble and drink!!! Now what does this say for land based casinos??

This Week on APCW

February 8th, 2008

Can you believe this? Now some are saying that ONLINE GAMBLING, is a threat to the US National Security. What a crock of BULL!!!  If this government would really focus on the National Security, they would see that folks having fun at home was not threat to anyone.   People get OFF your Bohunkus and SPEAK up!!

This week one of the founders of BET US was shot in his car.  But they are saying was just a random shooting, and he was shot in the leg and is doing fine. Makes you wonder about Costa Rica HUH?

On the good news:  We want to congratulate all the affiliates that received awards at the CAP Convention in London!!  For a couple especially, Dominique, from GamesandCasinos.com, and of course J Todd!!  WTG guys and all the others that took part and received awards!!   KEEP UP THE FIGHT!!!

Gambling Industry News

February 1st, 2008

Wow!!! Finally some good news from America!

If you gamble online in Washington State you could get up to ten years in jail. But we have a  former professional poker player, turned lawyer, Lee Rousso, that says he will run for Governor. Mr. Rousso is already challenging the states online gambling ban. A Big Hurayyyyy for Mr. Rousso!! And we have Representative Jim McDermott is floating an online gaming study in the US Congress.      Keep all fingers crossed things will turn around!

Meanwhile in Finland, after just a week ago they were talking about a new online gambling ban to allow players in the country to pursue a civil recovery from online gambling websites, from the sites and credit card companies that processed payments for the sites.        Now does it make any sense that this week they want to run an online poker room?   This seems to kinda defeat the purpose huh?

The Cap Euro Conference held in London this past week was a huge success!! They had more exhibits and Affiliates than ever.  Keep up the FIGHT!!!

Online Gambling News in Perspective

January 18th, 2008

EGBA  (European Gaming and betting  Association) has asked the European Commission to overturn Germany’s internet gambling ban. EGBA’s secretary general Sigrid Ligne, stated the EU should take “swift action” because the law directly contravenes EU law on the free movement of services adding the EU.

The organization said: and I Quote, “We urge the Commission now to fast track our complaint and launch infringement proceedings against Germany,”

The outcome of this will greatly affect the online gaming Industry! Keep you fingers crossed guys!!

The London Shows, comprising ATEI, ICE and ICEi, are opening at Earls Court next week (22-24 January.)  We urge all in the Gambling Industry and the affiliates to try your best to be there!! Last year over 25,000 visitors from 117 nations attended.

Now last but not least Absolute Poker was hit on the head with $500,000 fine. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission claimed was for the “superuser” cheating scandal.
