    HR 6663: The way forward for online poker?

    Peter Sessions, a US Republican Congressman recently introduced a new Bill, the HR 6663. This Bill was introduced to clarify points laid out in the UIGEA, implemented, in my opinion rashly, and without any clear guidelines, back in September 2006. HR 6663 – Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Clarification and Implementation Act of 2008 Let’s get one thing clear, we are poker players. The Federal findings clearly states that a serious criminal investigation of Bodog , in it’s entirety is on the move.     Online Poker Sites Have Checks Bouncing?

    The answer to that question is YES! Several online poker sites has checks bouncing, especially ones from ZIP Payments, where most are coming from, according to Gambling911. Some online poker sites were forced to use the services from shady type processing centers after the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act) that was passed in 2006. A lot of the online poker rooms that sent these checks, unknowingly, have started sending out new checks to the customers that received the bad ones.
