A skill game is a game where the outcome of a game is determined by the mental and, or their physical abilities of the player, than by pure chance.

The benefit of playing a skill game is they are a way of figuring out ones own capacities, and encourages one to look at, understand, and experience, Which is rewarding. They teach people things about themselves and give insights that can be passed on to others.

Most but not all skill games has some degree of chance.  There are random games such as playing cards, dice, or flipping a coin which involves guessing by the player.
