The Asian beach theme of the My Fair Pearl slot, available at Geco Gaming casinos, is a bit different twist than what we normally see from themes based around the Far East. The graphics of this game are solid enough, but the real focus is on the gameplay with some good features both in and out of bonus rounds. While the gameplay and visuals are both decent enough, there's not really much that makes this game stand out in a tremendous way, so we can understand if players want to skip over it. With that having been said, there's nothing necessarily wrong with it either.

Format and Layout

This game uses a total of five reels and three rows. From within this basic layout, it uses the 243-ways format, and that provides a ton of action for the basic gameplay. This all-ways format means that the regular symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels like scatters do, and that gives you a tremendous set of opportunities to get paid while giving players a decidedly higher hit-rate than titles with the traditional payline structure.

Betting and payouts are based on multiples of the whole bet size, and you're not really going to have to worry about individual coin sizes and other aspects of fine-tuning how much you're betting per spin. You can wager a minimum of $0.30 per spin, and lots of larger bet sizes are available too. We're going to assume a bet size of $1.50 per spin for the wins we'll reference below, and if you have a bet size larger or smaller than that, then you'll need to adjust the sizes of the prizes accordingly.

Wild Multiplier Girl Symbol

There's only one character symbol in this game, and she's a beautiful girl. She gives players extra chances to win by showing up on the first, third and fifth reels as a wild symbol. She substitutes for everything but the scatter, and she gives you a bit extra value with a multiplier. If you get a winning combination that includes a minimum of one of these wild girls, then you'll get the payout for that combination doubled.

We want to point out that she doesn't appear on all reels, so she doesn't give you her own payouts.

Scattered Free Spins Temple Symbols

The symbol of the green temple with a red roof is the only scatter in the game, and it's a bonus symbol as well. Three or more will get you a set of free spins in this game. You'll be given 15, 20 or 25 free turns for three, four or five of the scatter symbols, respectively, no matter where they appear on the game board.

This is a decent enough feature, but it's made a bit more interesting with a multiplier that's applied to every payout you get during the bonus round. This comes in the form of a 3x multiplier on all of your prizes. Something else really cool about this is that it combines with the 2x wild multiplier to give you a total maximum multiplier of 6x, which is pretty significant.

You can also win a payout of 75x for five of a kind, and this is the only symbol in the game to pay for two of a kind or more.

Payout and Pay Table Breakdown

The key wins you want to look for other than the scatters are 25x for five of the red lion symbol or five of the golden ring. You can also pick up 15x for five of the green butterfly or five of the yellow potion being mixed as well. A 10x prize for five of the intricate heart symbol is also solid.

Six card rank symbols give you pays across two tiers of wins. A 5x prize is yours for five of either the A or K symbols. However, you can also pick up 2.5x wins for five of the Q, J, 10 or 9 symbols.

Our Thoughts

With Geco Gaming's My Fair Pearl online slot, you're getting a somewhat mediocre game. Its Asian beach theme doesn't stand out all that much, and while the gameplay is on the fast-paced side, the features are pretty generic, and you'll find several games that have more or less the same exact set of features available from several software providers. As such, we're not particularly high on this game, but it's not terrible at all. It's a solid but pretty average slot as a whole.
