Three Card PokerThree Card Poker is a poker game with a couple different options. In Three Card poker you can play against yourself and the dealer, this depends on what you decide to bet. First you have to decide to wager on either the pair plus or the ante circle. If you decide to bet the pair plus you receive your 3 cards and are paid based upon what you have, if you have a pair it pays 1:1, but if you hit say a straight flush it pays 40:1, in an ante bet this would only pay 5:1.
Ante betting is a bit different, when you place an ante bet you receive your cards and the dealer gets three cards face down. Now you have to make the decision to either fold or play your hand and raise the bet. If you fold your ante will be taken away, if you raise the dealers cards are then flipped over, if you have the better hand you are paid out for what ever hand combination you have. Bonus hands include straights, three of a kind, and straight flushes. These pay out more on top of your win. The advantage to the ante bet is if you have a strong hand you can bet more and if you don't you can fold and possibly cut your losses. The pair plus option is good because it has much larger pay outs, but you can't make any decisions, you're stuck with whatever is in front of you. You can only bet $100 on the pair plus and up to $250 on the ante. If you play both you can have a total bet of $350. On top of that if you raise your ante bet, you can be betting $600! Three card is full of decisions and can be really strategic to really simple, that's what makes it such a great game. Three Card Poker Strategy & Rules
